Always grab pizza here when in town or going through. Take and Bakes taste just as good as baked in store. The River with sauerkraut is always a must but usually through in a Tuscan and something new we haven't tried before. Always fast friendly service with a smile. Never get pizza anywhere else in Bemidji!!

It really pains me to write this. I love a good pizza and enjoy trying new places when traveling. Based on popular opinion when I polled several locals about a good pizza place my hopes were high.
Ordered a couple things to try. Wanted to build a simple 3-topping pizza but the total for three toppings cost more than a 5-topping pizza from the same menu. Aside from the mild aneurysm in my math brain, it also created an inconvenience in ordering. (TIP: order an existing pizza from the menu and make substitutions is key if you want to keep up with the math/value).
They also charge $2.50 for delivery regardless if the address is only 900 ft. away at the nearest hotel. Asked if the toasted cheese bread had any garlic on it. Was told yes. False statement.
Both the pizza and (non-garlic) cheese bread showed up lukewarm (900 ft delivery). The crust on the pizza was undercooked and soggy- due to the excess moisture from the sauerkraut (which was a disappointment in itself because "The River" was supposed to be the owner's 'specialty'. Woulda thought they had this issue figured out by now).
I always give second chances so we will see if things improve tomorrow night but, so far, I'm not impressed. Oh well. -

Ordered pizzas to go and came to pick them up before they were done so I ordered a beer while I wait.
"That's 43.95."
Me, "put it on my card." She rings it up and gives me my card back then asks for the card so she can ring up the beer seperately...derp!
$43.95 for two -2 topping 14" pizzas that were not good at all. Kieth's use to be good. Yuck. -

The place had very good service. I decided to take out my pizza but I did look around the place. I would certainly eat in if there was a next time. I ordered the special which was a large sausage with bread sticks. Bread sticks were very good but the sauce was very plain. The pizza was average favor but better than a frozen pizza. Sausage was few and far between. Very small probably frozen. With a few minor improvements this place could have a great product. Price was average but I have had much better for the price.
Easy to find and plenty of parking. Sign said lunch buffet is M-F -

I have eaten here often over the years and have always had the same opinion, their crust is terrible. It's by far the worst crust options in Bemidji. Their pizza sauce is also too spiced. Their prices keep going up, every time you go in it seems like all the prices have gone up by about $1 on almost everything. Way too expensive for truck food with some fresh sausage being the only local product.
